Team QTO racing started at the GORM 24 in Poland (Olszyna Motopark) last week with two vehicles, one of the most extreme races in Europe. The race lasts 24 hour and in total
In total only 105 teams were allowed to start, in 5 different classes (T1, T2, T3, Q1, Q2). The 20 km Off Road track in Olszyna was challenging for both- drivers and vehicles and not all made it till the finish line. Team QTO on a Textron Off Road Wildcat XX smoked all the competitors in the Qualifying and started from the first position- and finally passed the finish line on 2 nd place in the T3 class.
In consideration of that the team only had less than a month to prepare and to set up the XX for the race, this result gained a lot of respect- as well among the other racing teams. Except the planned 3 hours stops (driver change, refill of petrol and minor servicing) the Textron Off Road Wildcat XX never forced the team for an additional stop- outstanding for a more or less stock vehicle.
Apart the XX QTO prepared a Wildcat X and finished in 3 rd position among the lady class.
What a great weekend for the athletes and Textron Off Road in Poland.
